Trying to ask this again- on July 27th I sent an email asking about sending payment for a full page advertisement for the con book as the website says to contact the marketing dept email- I haven’t heard back and I also had a question about the dimensions as it seems the full and half page are switched on the website.

I’ve had the payment ready to go.. and have had 0 success in contacting anyone ;-; tried emailing again a few days ago.. and also asking here..

Really hoping someone on staff can help! Not trying to be pushy- I know y’all are super busy but the dimensions question would really be helpful ;w; Thanks!

You draw on the pad and it shows up on your computer screen. It's like an upgraded version of drawing with a mouse, there's definitely a learning curve. I'd also recommend downloading Autodesk Sketchbook.

Reminds me of the times I spent with my grandmother in the backyard under the tree looking up at the planes flying overhead and wonder where they’re going. I came across some pictures of that time. Good memories. Hard to believe it was 30 years ago. She’s gone, house is gone, tree is gone. I still look up at those planes and wonder. Maybe that’s where I get my love of traveling from.

It depends on how well one takes care of oneself. I knew a 68 year old plumber who could still carry hot water heaters up spiral staircases; and a carpenter in his 70's who was faster than any younger carpenter that my dad knew.

My girlfriend is 65. She bicycles to work, to go grocery shopping, and to run other errands. She also works out at the gym as often as she can. She's eight inches taller than me, but weighs over fifty pounds less than I do. Unless there are any major changes in our lives, she'll be in as good a shape as I was in my 30's, when she reaches her 70's. As for me . . let's hoep that some major changes happen, that make me a healthier person again.

Here’s something that helps me feel old. I had an hour long discussion with a doctor in Eastern Europe about how bad their penmanship is, they were posting their various writing styles, and then when it came time for me to post my style I struggled with remembering how to write in cursive 🤣. My vocational school said they help students find jobs after graduation….only their idea of “helping” is putting them in a van to apply for Staples and BestBuy GeekSquad. I had classmates end up getting jobs there and absolutely hating it because all the actual computer repairs…the stuff we were trained to do…gets outsourced to a third party company. Plus people nowadays would rather buy a new computer premade then hire someone to fix their current computer or have them build them one from scratch…so our two years of training is wasted.

Well welcome! There’s a ton of places to eat near the hotel so start planning. My personal favorite is The Weinery. Delicious hot dogs, wide variety of toppings, and they have other food there too.

It’s a tossup. I can’t speak for this con, but some cons I think try to pick at panels that will draw in a lot of people and there’s an interest. Sometimes it’s too niche.

Ah. Ok. I’m on Verizon. Outside of one location by me which I have to actively look for, I never really have any coverage issues. Then again with the satellite SOS I’m never really out of coverage.

I don’t mind! I have extensive research in this area! I believe that while horseshoe crab blood dose offer a vital service there are other methods now that do not require the use of live animals. Recombinant Factor c (RFc) for one is synthetic LAL, the same component found in hotshot crab blood but made in a laboratory without need for live animals. Most refuse to use it though as they are what they have been doing works for them and are reluctant to change toward newer less known methods. I agree things should be tested but we should also consider the conservation impact as well that could occur in the time it takes to do this research. Plus the data we have now has shown the effectiveness and safety of RFc as a viable option.

Yes, I’m going to do something even if it doesn’t get approved, as I can always present in the lecture hall at the aquarium! They always are interested in the things I present there, I have a bit of a flare for presentation (people who have seen my musical performances I’m sure would agree)!
